TRANSITION ZONE
To complete his PhD, a nerd who studies rattlesnakes must collect a rare, venomous tree snake in the Amazon. Before departure Fredrico meets Sasha-Anna who studies isolated tribes but fears snakes. In their trek through the Amazon, they encounter drug-smuggling guerrillas, a tribe of cannibals, and a deranged army officer.
DATIL MOUNTAIN LIONS
In 1958, against all odds a tiny high school’s basketball team season culminates in the state championship game. The team’s captain is an Apache, while the coach’s nerdy son recruits two talented Black players who clash with a redneck before they transcend their differences.
